Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie głównych zasad i idei ruchu Slow Food, żywności typu slow food, w powiązaniu z tematyką turystyki kulinarnej i konsumpcji w duchu „slow”. Praca opiera się na przeglądzie literatury przedmiotu i opisuje wybrane aspekty życia w stylu „slow” i ich związek z rozwojem zrównoważonym.
