The Church has always been evangelizing since the beginning of its' existence. However, the contemporary world needs new evangelization as far as enthusiasm, power, language, methods and forms are concerned because contemporary sacerdotal ministry needs to be more productive. Since 1991, in Olsztyn there has been a prayer-formation group called “The Community of the Good Shepherd”. It is rooted in the post-conciliar trend of the Church reborn in the light of the new evangelization carried out by the Movement, known as, Light and Life. Pope Paul VI's preaching is the basis of “The Community of the Good Shepherd's” formation which means propagation of kerygma joy in the Holy Spirit, entrusting it to the Virgin Mothers' care of the Church; the Church - community experience and new culture. The Community of the Good Shepherd was established during the pontificate of Blessed John-Paul II, it takes up evangelization together with the Movement: Light and Life according to the plan Ad Christum Redemptorem developing it as a plan ACR2. The Community uses new means and methods in evangelization and the Christian freedom experience is a sign of being open to Christ's love. The Community of the Good Shepherd preaches primarily in the local Church and takes up consecutive evangelical challenges pointed out by Benedict XVI. The evangelization is carried out among adults and the practice of loving one's neighbor has become a reliable sign of evangelical life.

Die Kirche hat seit dem Beginn seiner Existenz evangelisiert. Allerdings müssen die Methoden der Neuevangelisierung in der modernen Welt immer produktiver sein. In 1991 in Olsztyn wurde eine Gruppe namens “Die Gemeinschaft des Guten Hirten” gebildet. Sie ist in dem post-konziliaren Trend der Kirche verwurzelt. Die Grundlage ist für diese Gemeinschaft die Predigt von Paul VI und ihrer Inhalt (Ausbreitung von Kerygma, Freude im Heiligen Geist, Sorge für die Kirche, Kirche als Gemeinschaft, neue Kultur). Die Gemeinschaft des Guten Hirten wurde während des Pontifikats des seligen Johannes Paul II. gegründet. Sie evangelisiert zusammen mit der “Licht und Leben-Bewegung” nach dem Plan “Ad Christum Redemptorem”. Die Gemeinschaft nutzt neue Mittel und Methoden. Sie verkündigt die Frohe Botschaft in der lokalen Kirche und nimmt, vom Papst hingewiesen, neue Herausforderungen unter. Die Evangelisierung wird durch die Erwachsenen durchgeführt. Das Zeichen des evangelischen Lebens dieser Gemeinschaft ist die Praxis der Nächstenliebe.
