The article analyzes the development of medical support in the Stanyslaviv province in the period of 1921-1939, defines the number of doctors and medical institutions, highlights the most common diseases among the population, the cost of medical treatment and the impact of these factors on everyday life of the Poles. Medicine was paid in interwar Poland, there was a system of health insurance, represented by cash desks of patients. The existing network of hospitals and the number of medical staff did not meet the needs of the Stanyslaviv province. Infectious diseases became widespread among the population.
