Audit Findings Published in December 2016 and January 2017 – ed. In this section we present the audits that the Supreme Audit Office completed in selected areas and that have been published in the form of pronouncements on audit results. In this issue of our bimonthly, we discuss the following audits: measures of the city of Kraków and the Tatra Mountains region taken when they applied for the organisation of the Winter Olympics; implementation of the programme for flood protection in the upper Wisła River catchment area; the airport in Rzeszów; the State’s measures aimed at reducing the smog; the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ); quality of drinking water; activities of the institutions tasked with prevention of games and Internet addiction among children; effectiveness of professional activation of employees; implementation of the Flood Protection Project in the Odra River catchment area; the hunting and fisheries guards; municipalities with the status of health resorts; use of the JASPERS initiative; safety of railway and road crossings and railway track passages.
