W ostatniej części artykułu zaproponowano typologię znaczeń nadawanych decyzji o powrocie i opisano cztery typy powrotów.

The paper takes critical social realism and realist biographies approach as a theoretical framework. Based on the empirical research on the return migration from the UK to Poland this paper examines the meaning ascribed by migrants to their decision about coming back to their home country. The reasons for return are divided depending on the direction of return; namely departure from the emigration country and return to Poland. The second criterion of division is the concern, to which the return is supposed to lead. In the last section of the paper proposed is the typology, which consists of four types of return.
