W opracowaniu przedstawiono długoterminowe cele strategiczne obszarów wiejskich w odniesieniu do Strategii Europa 2020 (czyli wpisanych w filozofię 3W – rozwój inteligentny, rozwój zrównoważony i rozwój sprzyjający włączeniu społecznemu). Zastosowano metodę analizy tekstów źródłowych instytucji Unii Europejskiej i dostępnej literatury przedmiotu. Analiza wykazała, iż sektor rolny jest sektorem postępowym i dynamicznym, co więcej – wpływa w znaczącym stopniu na realizację sukcesu Strategii Europa 2020.

The aim of the study is to present long-term objectives of country strategic areas with reference to the Strategy Europe 2020 (that is written down into philosophy 3D – the intelligent development, the sustainable development and the development supporting the social inclusion). In the study an analysis method of source materials of the institution of the European Union and the available literature on the subject were applied. Conducted analysis showed that the agriculture sector is progressive and dynamic, what is more to a considerable degree it influences the realisation of the success of the Strategy Europe 2020.
