Turkey is becoming more and more important country in international politics, and the Turkish foreign policy is becoming more influential, not only in the region, but also globally. The aim of the article is an analysis of the Turkish policy guidelines under the rules of AKP and estimation of its implementation. The Author characterizes the international relations of Turkey before the AKP rules and indicates the main documents, which include the guidelines of Turkish Foreign Policy (AKP Programme and Davutoğlu Doctrine). The documents are basis for foreign policy analysis in years 2002-2010/11, with reference to relations with USA, EU, Russia and Regions of Central Asia, South Caucasus, Balkans and Middle East.
