The article describes teaching Polish language and Polish linguistics at Polish Studies Faculty in Lviv, especially shows the way of conducting lexicology classes. Its main concern is focused on one of the most important lexicological issues : homonymy intra- and interlinguistic. It displays several theoretical issues, which are learned by Lviv’s students and also presents the results of their research on homonymy. An attempt is made to prove a thesis that conducting classes in entertainment manner makes learning of difficult academic linguistic disciplines more interesting and effective.
