Jednym z efektów wykorzystywania funduszy europejskich w polskiej gospodarce jest podnoszenie poziomu bezpieczeństwa finansowego małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw. Szeroki zakres inwestycji, na jakie mogą być przeznaczane pozyskiwane środki finan - sowe, przenosi się na stabilność gospodarczą, możliwość generowania dodatkowych zysków, a szczególnie umożliwiają one współfinansowanie inwestycji rozwojowych. Oferowana pomoc stwarza ogromne szanse dla tego rodzaju podmiotów gospodarczych. Trafne sprecyzowanie potrzeb, przygotowanie i późniejsze rozliczenie składanych wniosków o dofinansowanie może być, a bardzo często już jest dla firmy źródłem jej ekspansji gospodarczej w regionie, kraju, a nawet na rynku międzynarodowym.

The aim of this article is to present the changes of performed activities and organiza - tional transformations which took place under those circumstances. The analysis of the modification that occurred, include the period from the beginning of the operation of aviation in Poland until the end of the eighties, when the idea of creating a specialized and independent institution engaged in air traffic management became more realistic. The necessity to create a special entity appeared as a direct result of an increasing number of tasks which air traffic management services have to undertake due to the growing demand for air travel.
