This article is devoted to the review of the papers presented at the international conference “20th Slavonic Readings of the Memory of prof. P.A. Dmitriev and prof. G.I. Safronov” (September 12–13, 2018) at St. Petersburg State University. During five sessions (“Slavic literature,” “History of Slavistics,” “Modern Slavic languages,” “History and dialectology of Slavic languages,” “Slavic linguodidactics”) the actual problems of modern Slavistics were considered. More than 40 scientists from differentcities of Russia and Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Germany, Taiwan presented papers.
