Artykuł ten, oparty o wystąpienie na konferencji „Zagrożenia globalne barierami rozwoju”, przedstawia listę oraz krótką charakterystykę najważniejszych zagrożeń dla Polski zaczynając od zagrożeń wewnętrznych a kończąc na zewnętrznych. Artykuł zwraca też uwagę na ogólny niedostatek myśli strategicznej w Polsce. Jednym z wniosków jest powtórzenie dawnego postulatu Komitetu Prognoz PAN o powołanie instytutu badań strategicznych.

This paper presents a list and a short characteristics of most important threats for the development of Poland, starting with internal or local threats and finishing with global threats. The paper draws also attention to the weakness of strategic thinking in Poland. One of the conclusions is the repetition of old postulate of the Committee of Future Studies of P.Ac.Sc. to create an institute of strategic studies.
