Subject of this paper is to present a rather poorly known aspects of Polish Military Historiography regarding the Second Indochina War. One could think this war should have appeared exotic and thus of no interest to the representatives of the Polish reason of state. Nevertheless, Polish General Staff (Section No. 2) paid it a lot of attention, especially be-tween 1965 and 1975. As a result, many articles, analysis and official reports had been written. Most were created by officers, who at that time were working as Military Attaches next to Polish Embassy in Hanoi. The above materials were published as a special edition of the Polish General Staff. It was being released in 1967 and at the beginning of 1968, in the series, called Collection of News About Military Operations in Vietnam. Author’s aim has been to give the reader a full account of all ten parts of the series. In the author’s opin-ion those materials are a vital source, doubtlessly essential for every Polish scholar making a serious research on The Second Indochina War. Author has described structure and content of each part of the series as well as put some clarifying comments of his own. In numerous footnotes Author made references to signatures of used files, so that the reader could reach them more easily. Author believes this paper will be useful especially for students willing to extend their knowledge on the Vietnam War.
