W artykule zaprezentowano autorską metodykę prognozowania kierunków badawczych przeznaczoną do generowania kluczowych kierunków badań obejmujących najbardziej priorytetowe i przyszłościowe technologie istotne dla rozwoju konkurencyjności i innowacyjności przedsiębiorstw i instytutów technologicznych, które powinny być uwzględnione w uruchamianych programach badawczych, zwłaszcza w programach strategicznych. Identyfikacja innowacyjnych technologii i kierunków badawczych wspomagana jest przez specjalizowany system informatyczny.

The article presents an original methodology of forecasting research directions for the generation of key research directions including those with the highest priority and future-oriented technologies that are essential for the development of the competitiveness and innovation of enterprises and technological institutes and that should be included in newly launched, particularly strategic, research programmes. The identification of innovative technologies and research directions is supported by a specialised computer system.
