This article discusses the role of industrial property in business. First section char-acterizes Polish system of protection of industrial property. Describes the goods of industrial property and property rights that national legislation grants their creators. Second section highlights the impact of industrial property on the implementation of four functions of business management (planning, organizing, leading, controlling).
