Abstracts
It is possible to practice the geopolitics as a study, research method, practice of using political power, journalism, quackery or even fraud. In this article geopolitics was presented as a study, which is a part of political science. Geopolitics researches civilization and political systems on unchanging space. Basic benefit of using geopolitics is deepened evaluation of dynamic reality and variants of its change. Geopolitics is facilitating understanding great space-time processes. Practicing the geopolitics can be also dangerous. For first, can be dangerous to the policy. The best example is German school of geopolitics by Karl Haushofer. Secondly, geopolitics can surrender to different intellectual weaknesses, myths, stereotypes, etc.
