W 2006 r. w Rozporządzeniu Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego zostały określone nowe standardy kształcenia dla wszystkich kierunków studiów. Analizując treści kształcenia poszczególnych przedmiotów dla kierunku studiów administracji na studiach I i II stopnia, dostrzegamy pełną dowolność w konstrukcji koncepcji programowej, której realizacja powinna przygotować absolwentów do pracy zawodowej w administracji publicznej i prywatnej na miarę współczesnych potrzeb społeczeństwa, które powoli staje się społeczeństwem sieciowym.

In 2006 in the ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education a new standard of education for the field of study of administration was determined. Judging content of education of separate subjects for I-level and II-level studies we notice the full freedom in the structure of the curricular concept, accomplishment of which should prepare to a career in both public and private administration up to standards of contemporary needs of the society that is gradually becoming the network society. The contemporary society is extremely dynamic, though a degree of changes is diverse. Institutions that came into existence in a different reality are incapable of solving social matters that arise. Taking decisions rationally in changeable conditions and effective acting requires knowledge and skills that allow to determine the level and estimate the risk in all dimensions of everyday existence. This problem was being analysed in the article and significance of the appropriate selection of the curriculum of studies for the needs of contemporary administration was emphasised.
