This study attempts to identify the key EU-related priorities of the ten Central and Eastern European member states (EU10) and their abilities to influence European Union policies alone or jointly. The issues discussed are the management of the eurozone crisis, the multiannual financial framework for 2014-2020, the reform of common agricultural policy and of cohesion policy after 2013, energy policy, external relations, enlargement and neighbourhood policy. The article concludes that, despite the crisis, the EU10 seems to be a less problematic region in the Union which potentially could enable it to become a stronger player in EU affairs. Due to diverse interests, positions and challenges, however, the EU10 does not behave as a single lobbying group; nevertheless, many policy areas can be detected where these countries have a similar approach allowing them to make an impact on European integration.

W artykule podjęto próbę sprecyzowania unijnych priorytetów dziesięciu nowych państw członkowskich z Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej (UE-10) oraz ich zdolności do wywierania wpływu na politykę Unii Europejskiej, samodzielnie lub wspólnie. Omówiono następujące zagadnienia: zarządzanie kryzysem w strefie euro, wieloletnie ramy finansowe na lata 2014-2020, reformy wspólnej polityki rolnej i polityki spójności po 2013 r., polityka energetyczna, stosunki zewnętrzne, polityka rozszerzenia i sąsiedztwa. Autorka stwierdza, że mimo kryzysu, kraje UE-10 są mniej problematycznym regionem Unii i potencjalnie mogłyby stać się silniejszym graczem w sprawach unijnych. Kraje UE-10 ze względu na różne interesy, stanowiska i wyzwania nie zachowują się jednak jak jednolita grupa lobbingowa, niemniej w wielu dziedzinach polityki - jak zauważono - mają podobne stanowisko, co powinno umożliwić im wywieranie wpływu na integrację europejską.
