La popularidad de la lengua española ha superado las fronteras de la Unión Europea yse va extendiendo a los países vecinos del Este de Europa. El interés por el español va aumentando en Ucrania donde a lo largo de los últimos años han aparecido nuevos diccionarios y materiales didácticos para el aprendizaje del castellano. En esta presentación nos gustaría hacer un breve análisis comparativo de dos diccionarios temáticos de la misma editorial y serie. Se trata del diccionario temático ucraniano-español (Украïнсько-iспанський тематичний словник) y del diccionario temático ucraniano-polaco (Украïнсько-польський тематичний словник), los dos editados por la editorial Vadim Karcenko de Kiev en 2012 y 2008 respectivamente. La finalidad de la comparación es analizar los criterios de elección del léxico adoptados para el primero y el segundo de los diccionarios en cuestión para intentar trazar un esbozo de la percepción lingüística del mundo propuesta en ambos diccionarios. Lo interesante de esta comparación trilingüe, según nuestro modesto parecer, es ver cómo la lengua polaca refleja a través de las acepciones que encontramos en el diccionario ucraniano-polaco, el “carácter-puente” de la cultura polaca, que se halla entre Oriente y Occidente.

Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na kilka kwestii związanych z leksykografią dwujęzycznych słowników tematycznych. Wydaje nam się, podobnie jak Starkowi (2011), autorowi książki Bilingual Thematic Dictonaries, że ten rodzaj słowników nie został jeszcze dostatecznie opisany. Dlatego też na początku artykułu pojawia się pytanie, czym właściwie jest dwujęzyczny słownik tematyczny (DST), oraz przedstawione są argumenty, które według autora czynią zeń interesujący przedmiot badań. Następnie krótko omówiona jest makrostruktura DST, a potem przedstawione kilka rozważań na temat językowego obrazu świata w słowniku. Punktem odniesienia do tych refleksji jest zwięzłe porównanie dwóch słowników tematycznych: ukraińsko- polskiego i ukraińsko-hiszpańskiego, wydanych przez wydawnictwo Vadim Karcenko z Kijowa w 2008 i 2012 r. Seria krótkich przykładów rozwiązań zastosowanych w obu słownikach ma za zadanie wskazać potrzebę głębszego opisania struktury DST oraz zwrócenie uwagi, że pisanie tego rodzaju słowników jest złożonym procesem, który nie tylko jest wyzwaniem leksykograficznym, ale przede wszystkim złożonym zadaniem interdyscyplinarnym, wymagającym uwzględnienia szeregu badań kulturologicznych i semazjologicznych.

The main purpose of this paper is to draw attention to several issues related to the lexicography of bilingual thematic dictionaries. It seems to us, as to Stark (2011), the author of the book Biingual Thematic Dictonaries, that this kind of dictionaries has not yet been sufficiently described. Therefore, at the beginning of this article, arises the question what exactly is a bilingual thematic dictionary (BTD), and arguments are presented to prove that a BTD is an interesting subject of study. Then, we briefly discuss the macrostructure of a BTD and some reflections on the linguistic picture of the world in the dictionary are presented. The reference point for these reflections is a brief comparison of two thematic dictionaries: the Ukrainian-Polish and Ukrainian-Spanish issued by Vadim Karcenko Publisher from Kiev in 2008 and 2012. A series of short examples of the solutions used in the two dictionaries is shown in order to point out the need to further description of the structure of the DSTs and to stress that composing this kind of dictionary is a complex process that is not only challenging from the lexicographical point of view, but it is an interdisciplinary complex task, requiring consideration of various culturological and semasiological researches.
