Starting with the creative power of the world of art and classifying certain human products as works of art, I show how museums are opening up to the "world of fashion". Beginning with the historical beginnings of fashion shows, going to the presentation of fashion in museum interiors, I describe how the form of exhibiting outfits has evolved, thus pushing the boundaries between the presentation of applied art and the performative work of art created before viewers' eyes.
