The aim of this article is the analysis of the literary reflection of the region’s cultural lanscape. The methodological approach adopted here refers to the British researcher Tim Ingold’s theory stating that the “landscape” can be defined as the sum total of every generation’s activities historically inhabiting a given area. The illustration of such an approach seems to be the novel Grünberg by Krzysztof Fedorowicz, exploiting the theme of crossborder-like identity of the population of the city of Zielona Góra and its adjacent area.
