The subject of the article is a critical analysis of the Kant’s thoughts about politics. The author concentrates on Kant’s realistic description of politics and on the basic principles of politics (representation, federalism, publicity). He points on the problematic relationship between sovereignty and citizens as well as between order and freedom. Referring to the present he points in this contexts on a current social problems.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest analiza krytyczna rozważań I. Kanta o polityce. Autor koncentruje się na realistycznym opisie polityki w myśli I. Kanta i na pod-stawowych zasadach polityki (przedstawicielstwo, federalizm, rozgłos). Wskazuje na problematyczny związek pomiędzy suwerennością a obywatelami oraz prawem i wolnością. Nawiązując do współczesności wskazuje w tym kontekście na bieżące problemy społeczne.
