The author of the article assumes that notions “eccentricity”, “vertical and horizontal transcendence” have common meanings in anthropological projects by Karol Wojtyla and Helmut Plessner. The overview of concepts reveals two general areas: philosophical anthropology and phenomenology. In this vein the author emphasizes the personal structure: I — psyche — body which serves as the basis for human expressions and conscious acts.
