Táto štúdia sa zameriava na aféru „Straperlo“, ktorá sa odohrala na jeseň 1935 v republikánskom Španielsku. Práca skúma dopad korupčného škandálu na politickú situáciu a jeho reflexiu v dvoch odlišných oblastiach — Madrid a Astúria. Štúdia takisto sleduje vývoj a situáciu v Republikánskej Radikálnej strane (Partido Republicano Radical) na pozadí tejto aféry a jej ďalšie následky.

This paper focuses on “Straperlo” affair that occurred in the republican Spain in the autumn of 1935. The work investigates the impact of the corruption scandal on the political situation and its reflection in two distinct areas — Madrid and Asturias. The study also follows the development and situation in Radical Republican Party (Partido Republicano Radical) on the background of this affair and its additional consequences.
