Anna Korwin jest brytyjską aktorką polskiego pochodzenia. Jej artystyczna osobowość najpełniej wyraziła się w teatrze, ale Korwin regularnie pojawiała się także w filmie i telewizji, gdzie wyspecjalizowała się w kreśleniu aktorskich miniatur. Wystąpiła m.in. w zrealizowanej przez BBC adaptacji „Sagi rodu Forsyte’ów” (reż. David Giles, 1967) Johna Galsworthy’ego. Znajomość kilku języków oraz kontynentalne pochodzenie predysponowały ją do ról postaci cudzoziemskich. Najważniejsze kreacje stworzyła już jako artystka dojrzała. Jest wśród nich tytułowa rola w monodramie o życiu i twórczości Marii Callas (według sztuki Jean-Yves’a Picqa), w którym nakreśliła interesujący psychologicznie wizerunek greckiej primadonny.

Anna Korwin is a British actress of Polish origin. Her artistic personality is most fully revealed in the theatre, but she also regularly appeared in film and on Tv, where she specialised in creating small character parts. She took part in the BBC adaptation of John Galsworthy’s “The Forsyte Saga” (dir. David Giles, 1967). Her continental background and knowledge of several languages predisposed her to play foreign characters. Her most important artistic creations were in her mature years. Among them the title role in the monodrama of life and work of Maria Callas (based on the play by Jean-yves Picq), in which she presented a psychologically interesting portrait of the Greek prima donna.
