Abstracts
The anniversary celebrations organised at the Headquarters of NIK included a panel of NIK Presidents. The role and mission of the supreme body of state auditing in the changing reality were discussed by the current President of NIK Krzysztof Kwiatkowski and his predecessors: Janusz Wojciechowski, Mirosław Sekuła and Jacek Jezierski. Before the panel, a delegation of the NIK management and staff laid wreaths at the monuments of the founders of state auditing in Poland in 1919, and on cemeteries where the first President of NIK and former NIK employees who died in the plane catastrophe in Smoleńsk were buried.
