This thesis is an attempt of outlining the subject – remuneration of the senior management. During the last years the interest in those issues is quite significant. I tried to present first of all the most significant problems related to development of remuneration packages of the management in the market sector. I concentrated on the specificity of remuneration and portraying that the remuneration system should be integrated into the process of human resource management. The thesis encompasses three issues: - remuneration in the light of the literature on the subject, - components of remunerations, - the issues of remunerating the senior management. It was necessary to give up detailed presentation of many problems – undoubtedly deserving to be explored more thoroughly. However, to my mind the most important ones have been included in the presented material.
