Celem artykułu jest próba poszukiwania kierunków i siły oddziaływania zaawansowania technologicznego na aktywność innowacyjną przedsiębiorstw w polskim systemie przemysłowym. W pracy wykorzystano statystyczne modelowanie probitowe, bazujące na rachunku prawdopodobieństwa. Polityka innowacyjna w Polsce na poziomie krajowym jest ukierunkowana na wspieranie sektora wysokich technologii, gdy na poziomie regionalnym samorządy skupiają się na stymulowaniu niskich technologii. Przeprowadzone badania pokazują, że za akcelerację postępu technologicznego odpowiadają głównie przedsiębiorstwa działające w obszarze średniowysokich technologii uzupełnianych przez sektor high-tech, gdy niskie technologie charakteryzują się statystycznie istotnie słabszym zaangażowaniem w procesy innowacyjne w krajowym przemyśle. Wynika to z faktu aktualnego rozwoju gospodarczego naszego kraju i konieczności uwzględnienia perspektywy ewolucyjnej w prawidłowym stymulowaniu działalności innowacyjnej. Kreowanie polityki innowacyjnej czy to na poziomie krajowym czy regionalnym powinno uwzględniać poziom zaawansowania technologicznego przedsiębiorstw. Uwzględnienie zróżnicowania technologicznego w polskiej gospodarce i w realizowanej polityce innowacyjnej pozwoli na zrozumienie ewolucji procesów innowacyjnych i utrzymanie ciągłość akceleracji postępu technologicznego w długim okresie.

Main purpose of this paper is an attempt to search for trends and the impact of the technology advanced on the activity of innovative enterprises in the Polish Industrial Systems. The article uses probiting modeling, based on probability theory. Innovation policy in Poland at the national level is intended to support high-tech sector, while at the regional level governments focus on stimulating low technology. The study shows that the acceleration of technological advances are mainly responsible companies operating in the mid-high technology sector supplemented by high-tech, when low technologies are characterized by significantly weaker involvement in innovation processes in the domestic industry. This is due the current economic development of our country and the need to take into account an evolutionary approach, to the proper stimulation of innovation activity. Creating innovative policy whether at national or regional level should take into account the technology advanced of enterprises. Taking account of technological diversity in the Polish economy and innovation policy will help us to understand the evolution of innovation processes and necessary continuity of technological progress in the long term.
