Wprowadzenie. W 2015 roku w Polsce 6452 dziewczyn w wieku poniżej 18 lat urodziło dzieci. W ostatnich latach ten wskaźnik cechuje się tendencją malejącą, jednak zagadnienie to nadal stanowi istotny problem społeczny. Młode dziewczyny są bardziej narażone na powikłania podczas ciąży, porodu i połogu niż dorosłe kobiety. Nowa sytuacja może być dla nieletniej źródłem stresu, samotności, bezradności i depresji. Istotną kwestią w niesieniu pomocy młodym matkom jest wsparcie ze strony społeczeństwa. Cel pracy. Badanie Opinia internautów na temat ciąż nieletnich miało na celu poznanie opinii i stosunku użytkowników internetu do niepełnoletnich dziewczyn, które zaszły w ciążę. Materiał i metoda. W badaniu przeprowadzonym metodą CAWI wzięło udział 669 respondentów w wieku 17–76 lat. Wyniki. Zdecydowana większość respondentów (99%) słyszała o zjawisku ciąż wśród dziewczyn poniżej 18 r.ż., a 76% znało taką osobę, co świadczy o szerokim rozpowszechnieniu omawianego zagadnienia. Ponad połowa (52,2%) internautów uważała, że liczba ciąż nieletnich w ostatnich latach ma tendencję rosnącą, czego nie odzwierciedlają dane opublikowane przez Główny Urząd Statystyczny, które prezentują trend spadkowy. Duża część respondentów (69,4%) zadeklarowała, że najodpowiedniejszy wiek na urodzenie dziecka to 26–30 lat, co pokrywa się z aktualnymi trendami płodności Polek. Większa część respondentów (62,9%) stwierdziła, że ciąża może być powodem do podjęcia decyzji o dokonaniu samobójstwa, co potwierdzają badania suicydologiczne, na których podstawie Światowa Organizacja Zdrowia klasyfikuje ciąże nieletnich jako jeden z czynników ryzyka popełnienia samobójstwa.

Introduction: In 2015, 6452 girls in age below 18 years old born children in Poland. In recent years, this ratio is getting lower, but is still a serious social problem. Young girls are more vulnerable to complications in the course of pregnancy and childbirth than adult women. The new situation can be a source of stress, loneliness, helplessness and depression for young women. The support from the society is an important issue in helping young mothers. Aim of the study: The aim of the study was to identify opinion of Internet users about underage girls who become pregnant. Materials and methods: The study was used CAWI method and were involved 669 respondents aged from 17 to 76 years old. Results: The majority of respondents (99%) have heard about the phenomenon of pregnancies among girls under 18 years old and 76% knew personally the girl, who before the age of 18 was pregnant what demonstrates the wide dissemination of this subject. More than half (52,2%) of Internet users found that the number of underage pregnancies in recent years has tended to rise which is not reflected in the data published by the Central Statistical Office, which represent a downward trend. A large proportion of respondents (69,4%) has declared that the most appropriate moment for the childbirth is age between 26 and 30 years old which coincides with the current trends of fertility of Polish women. The greater part of the respondents (62,9%) stated that pregnancy can be a reason to take a decision on a suicide. This opinion is confirmed by the World Health Organization which has classified underage pregnancies as a risk factors of suicide.
