Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza sposobów, w jakie osoby uwikłane w sytuacje wykorzystania seksualnego dziecka postrzegają i przeżywają kontakty z innymi ludźmi oraz jak nadają im znaczenia. Przeprowadzona analiza piśmiennictwa doprowadziła do sformułowania kilku wniosków. Po pierwsze, uwikłanie w sytuacje wykorzystania seksualnego dziecka może przybierać formę różnorodnych ról w krzywdzącej interakcji, które często współwystępują w życiu tej samej osoby. Po drugie, można zauważyć podobieństwa w sposobach postrzegania relacji interpersonalnych opisywanych w piśmiennictwie jako konsekwencje doświadczenia wykorzystania seksualnego w dzieciństwie oraz jako determinanty podjęcia czynów pedofilnych, co skłania do wniosku o wielorakich (w rozumieniu następstwa czasowego oraz zależności przyczynowych) ich powiązaniach. Po trzecie, sposób rozumienia wpływu wykorzystania seksualnego na życie człowieka oraz jego miejsca w relacjach interpersonalnych w ogóle stanowi przedmiot zainteresowania większej grupy osób niż tylko bezpośrednio w nie zaangażowani. Należą do nich osoby postronne uczestniczące w społecznym dyskursie o zjawisku, a także osoby zajmujące się nim naukowo lub w praktyce zawodowej. Wiedza potoczna o naturze relacji międzyludzkich, w tym wykorzystania seksualnego, oraz wiedza i działalność profesjonalna pozostają zaś we wzajemnych związkach. Wnioski płynące z przeprowadzonych analiz uzasadniają postulat dotyczący potrzeby znacznej uważności na sposób konceptualizowania zagadnienia relacji między uwikłaniem w wykorzystanie seksualne w życiu człowieka a sposobem jego rozumienia natury relacji międzyludzkich. Uważność ta powinna dotyczyć pojęć stosowanych do opisu zagadnienia, sposobów prowadzenia badań oraz podejmowania działań praktyki profesjonalnej – terapii czy poradnictwa. Może ona zwiększać szansę na wybór uzasadnionych i etycznych rozwiązań.

The aim of the present study is to analyze the ways in which people entangled in situations of child sexual abuse perceive, experience and give meaning to relationships with other people. The analysis of literature led to a few conclusions. Firstly, involvement in situations of child sexual abuse may take the form of various roles in the harmful interaction, and these often co-occur in life of the same person. Secondly, there can be identified some similarities in perception of interpersonal relationships described in the literature as a consequence of child sexual abuse experience and as a determinant of pedophile offending. It leads to the conclusion of multiple relations between tchem (in terms of time and cause-effect). Third, the way how of understanding the impact of sexual abuse on the persons’ life and its place in interpersonal relationships in general is also the subject of interests of people other than just directly involved. These include members of the public participating in the social discourse on the phenomenon, as well as professionals conducting research or clinical practice. Common knowledge on the nature of interpersonal relationships, including sexual abuse and professional knowledge on the topic are in mutual relationships. These conclusions justify the postulate on the need for a awareness of the way how the relation between entanglement in sexual abuse in human life course and the way of their understanding of the nature of interpersonal relationships are conceptualized. The awareness should be involved both in concepts used to describe the problem, ways of conducting research and in professional practice: therapy or counseling. It can increase the possibility of choosing the well-grounded and ethical solutions.
