Peculiar character of a military pilot job presented in the article has been used by the author for considering two crucial problems. It means for candidate selection for military pilots as well as their aviation education and training. Good solutions in range of the both problems are decisive in final effect to prepare professionally candidates of military aviation university. It is also decisive in its efficient and reliable functioning in first and next work positions as a military pilot. The problems have been shown in the article as the most important determinants of effective fulfilling educational functions by the Air Force Academy as it is the only military aviation university in Poland that trains future military pilots.
