In the first chapter the author examines the multidimensional phenomenon of intelligence through the prism of etymology and semantics of the concept, functions and cultural contexts; indicates the applicable test methods and criteria for the description of this phenomenon and discusses the problems they must confront the researcher has taken the issue intellectual elites. Abassy also cites the definitions of rouszanfekr ("intelligent" "Intellectual") administered by the researchers of Persian.
