W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badania ojców w Polsce. Główne obszary badania to: rola ojca, podział obowiązków związanych z opieką nad dzieckiem, czas spędzany z dzieckiem, korzystanie z urlopu ojcowskiego, sposoby przygotowania się do ojcostwa, doświadczane trudności oraz stosowane metody wychowawcze. Artykuł prezentuje tezę o odejściu od tradycyjnego modelu ojcostwa w stronę upodabniania się roli ojca do roli matki.

The article presents the results of a study on fathers in Poland. The main examined areas were: the role of the father, the division of responsibilities related to child care, time spent with the child, the use of paternity leave, ways to prepare for fatherhood, experienced difficulties and used methods of education. The article presents the idea of change from the traditional model of fatherhood in the direction of convergence father’s and mother’s roles.
