Článek pojednává o partyzánském odboji na východní frontě v období druhé světové války s ohledem na jeho důsledky v souvislostech nacistických represí proti přímým účastníkům odboje i proti civilnímu obyvatelstvu. Popisuje prvotní živelnou fázi, v níž se objevují neorganizované skupiny, které nedisponovaly žádnou vojenskou podporou a často ani zbraněmi. Později se tito neregulérní bojovníci organizovali v souvislé partyzánské hnutí a stali se nepřátelským vojskům rovnocenným protivníkem nad rámec Rudé armády. Článek dále pohlíží na vrcholnou fázi partyzánské rezistence — utváření sovětských partyzánských výsadků do oblastí zemí východní a střední Evropy. Klade důraz na přípravu, výcvik a složení partyzánských jednotek do Protektorátu Čechy a Morava.

The article deals with the partisan resistance movement on the Eastern Front during the World War II. It takes into consideration the impacts of the movement regarding the Nazi repressions against the direct participants of the resistance movement as well as against the civilians. The article describes the initial spontaneous phase in which also disorganised groups without any military support or even weapons appeared. These disconnected fighters later organized a consistent partisan movement and, besides the Red Army, became equal enemies of the hostile armies. The article also follows the climax of the partisan resistance — the creation of the Soviet partisan landings in Eastern and Central Europe. It emphasizes the preparations, training and structure of the partisan units in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
