review: jerzy Fiećko, Krasiński przeciw Mickiewiczowi. Najważniejszy spór romantyków (Krasiński against Mickiewicz. The most important argument among romantics), Wydawnictwo poznańskie, poznań 2011. The review of the book has been divided into two parts. The first part has the title: Krasiński i Mickiewicz (Krasiński and Mickiewicz) and the second: Bohaterowie a ich twórcy (Heroes and their creators). The first part presents the ideological conflict between zygmunt Krasiński and Adam Mickiewicz approached by Fiećko as ‘the most important argument of the romantics’ (attention has been paid to, among others, conflicts over the nation, the issue of jews and of russia as well as discussions around the concepts of Messianism and Towiańskiite movement). The second part of the review discusses the problem in the chapter Bóg – Historia – Zło (God – History – Evil) and describes the heroes created by Adam Mickiewicz and zygmunt Krasiński.
