All considerations on democracy and law have to be carried out based on the system of values, which contains objective truth about a human being. There is no State or law which is neutral from the point of view of axiology, even though contemporary democratic States declare such neutrality. The system of values, which contains objective truth about human beings, stems from Christianity as its principles serve the good of any human being, and not only of the followers of this religion. Therefore, the principles of Christian anthropology should constitute the grounds for considerations not only on the State and the law or on human freedoms and rights, but also the grounds for any debate concerning broadly understood culture.
