Wpływ globalizacji na rynek pracy, a tym samym coraz bardziej znacząca rola wiedzy i kapitału intelektualnego, spadek znaczenia pracy to główne zmiany jakie zachodzą we współczesnym świecie. W teorii ekonomii od dawna toczą się więc spory na temat braku pracy, bezrobocia i tzw. końca pracy. Celem rozważań jest więc przedstawienie aspektu braku pracy na świecie oraz próba wstępnej weryfikacji światowego rynku pracy pod kątem określenia, czy jest to rynek pracodawcy czy pracownika i czy rzeczywiście ludzkość czeka brak pracy. Na wstępie zamieszczono rozważania dotyczące aspektu końca pracy w wybranych teoriach. Następnie przedstawiono światowe rynki pracy. Dla lepszego zobrazowania, posłużono się współczynnikiem aktywności zawodowej, wskaźnikiem zatrudnienia i stopą bezrobocia. Przedmiotem kolejnej części była próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy na pewno na świecie brakuje pracy? Dlatego postanowiono określić, czy współczesny rynek pracy jest rynkiem pracownika czy rynkiem pracodawcy i co na to wpływa. Część końcową stanowią ważniejsze wnioski wynikające z rozważań.

The impact of globalization on the labour market, and thus the increasingly important role of knowledge and intellectual capital, the decline in importance of the work are the main changes taking place in the modern world. In economic theory has long roll so disputes about the lack of work, unemployment and so the end of the work. The aim of the discussion is so present aspect of the lack of work in the world and an attempt to preliminary verification of the global labour market in terms of determining whether the market is employer or employee and his genuine humanity awaits the lack of work. At the outset, contains discussion of the aspect of the end of the work selected theories. This is followed by the world's labour markets. To better illustrate, it was used activity rate, employment rate and unemployment rate. The subject of the next part was an attempt to answer the question whether you really missing the world of work? Therefore it was decided to determine whether the modern labour market is a market employee or the employer market and what affects it. End portion are the major conclusions from the discussion.
