W dniach 26–27 czerwca 2014 r. w Toruniu odbywała się zorganizowana przez Instytut Informacji Naukowej i Bibliologii Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu konferencja naukowa poświęcona polskiej tegumentologii. Jej istotnym celem było stworzenie forum wymiany informacji i doświadczeń dla rodzimych tegumentologów z możliwie najliczniejszych ośrodków naukowych. Artykuł podsumowuje konferencję i prezentuje informacje na temat wygłoszonych w jej ramach wystąpień.

On 26th–27th June 2014, the Institute of Information Science and Book Studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun organised the first conference dedicated to Polish tegumentology. Its aim was to create a forum for exchange of information and experiences by Polish tegumentology specialists from the largest Polish research centres. The article summarizes the conference and contains basic information about the presented papers.
