The paper describes the problem of selected determinants of eco innovative activity of companies. By presenting the main endo and egzogenic factors which influence initiating in the company econinnovation activities the author attempts to determine which of them are key important from the point of view of the entrepreneur. Moreover the paper presents the process of forming innovations in the organization as well as benefits from them-specified based on the results of the research conducted by the Division of Environment and Public Sector Economy Management of the University of Zielona Góra between 2006 and 2008 and the Central Statistical Office of Poland on the factors “stimulating” the implementation of ecological innovations on the microeconomic level.
