The article discusses the agreement Piłsudski – Petlura in the Polish press after 1995. Opinions of Polish journalists about the conception of eastern policy of Piłsudski and Dmowski are presented. Most journalists negatively assessed Dmowski’s attitude to Ukraine. He denied this nation’s right to independence. Profiles of Piłsudski and Petlura are also presented. It is worth noting that the Polish press related positively to ataman Petlura. In this work there is a description of the attitude of Polish journalists, who were for the fight of the Polish and Ukrainian people for independence against the common enemy, that is Russia. The article also presents a journalistic coverage of the Polish peace treaty in Riga. Treaty of Riga was called a betrayal of Ukraine, a second Yalta.
