W artykule przestawiono trzy wybrane miasta francuskie, w których zrestrukturyzowano transport miejski. Celem przebudowy systemu transportowego było ułatwienie pieszym poruszania się w obrębie centralnym miasta przy jednoczesnej możliwości korzystania zarówno z transportu zbiorowego, jak i prywatnego. Tworzenie w tych obszarach ciągów pieszo-tramwajowych stało się naturalną formą organizacji ruchu.

The aim of the article is to present three French towns of different size, in different regions of France where the modern transportation solutions were applied. The today problem is to limited car access to the downtown, reinforced public transport and re-done public space to the pedestrian. Finally these solutions permits to reduce traffic jams, pollutions, time of travel and recovery of public spaces. Some of these proposals are working perfectly, other need to be improved.
