The aim of the article is to distinguish lexical units which are represented by the form of dojrzeć. Dictionaries of contemporary Polish language describe dojrzeć as polysemous unit. The author argues with these descriptions and attempts to define the number of syntactic positions of the analyzed units containing the form dojrzeć, as well as their selectional restrictions. As a result, three lexical units of the following form are distinguished: [ktoś] dojrzał do [czegoś], [ktoś] dojrzał, [coś] dojrzało.
