The heritage of the Bauhaus school is the benchmark for the activities of each and every jacquard fabrics designer. Juxtaposing the operating strategies of the German university and the Lodz Academy appears particularly interesting. For the latter the fabric became fundamental in its beginnings, and has still been important today. The projects inspired by Bauhaus were created in the Decorative Fabrics Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in the summer semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.
