Praca skupia się na analizie masory wielkiej w Kodeksie z Aleppo oraz na ogólnym opisie pracy masoretów. Zasady, jakie funkcjonują w obrębie masory wielkiej, zostały zaprezentowane na wybranym tekście. Jest nim fragment z Księgi Powtórzonego Prawa (Pwt 32,14-33). Całość tekstu obejmuje Pwt 32,143 i zwyczajowo zwie się go „Pieśnią Mojżesza” (w tradycji żydowskiej zaś Haazinu). „Pieśń Mojżesza” w Kodeksie z Aleppo wyróżnia się formą zapisu od pozostałej części tekstu Pwt. We wspomnianym kodeksie Księga Powtórzonego Prawa zapisana jest w trzech wyjustowanych kolumnach, natomiast „Pieśń Mojżesza” tworzą dwie kolumny niewyjustowane. Odnośnie Pwt 32,14-33 tylko siedem uwag z masory małej zostało rozwiniętych w masorze wielkiej. W niniejszej pracy wspomniane przypadki zostały podzielone na dwie grupy: a) masora wielka w górnym marginesie kodeksu (Pwt 32,17.17.16.27.25), b) masora wielka w dolnym marginesie kodeksu (Pwt 32,24.30.31). Za pomocą znaków i uwag masoreci stworzyli formę konkordancji opartej na pamięci, aby zachować wszystkie szczegóły biblijnego tekstu i wykluczyć błędy przy jego czytaniu, kopiowaniu, a także interpretowaniu.

This study aims to analyse the large Masorah in the Aleppo Codex, and to provide a general description of the work of the Masoretes. The research is focused on the following fragment of the Book of Deuteronomy: Deut. 32:14–33. The whole text of Deut. 32:1–43 is usually referred to as “The Song of Moses” (in Jewish tradition – Haazinu). Its version in the aforementioned Aleppo Codex has a distinct form: the Book of Deuteronomy is written in three justified columns, while “The Song of Moses” consists of only two. In the large Masorah of Deut. 32:14–33, the Masoretes developed only seven comments from the small Masorah. In this dissertation, these comments have been divided into two groups: a) the large Masorah in the upper margin of the page (Deut. 32:17.17.16.27.25), b) the large Masorah in the lower margin of the page (Deut. 32:24.30.31). Using their system of signs, the Masoretes created a form of concordance based on memory to maintain all the details of the biblical text and to prevent making mistakes while reading, copying and interpreting it.
