Z kolei zderzenie wyobrażeń z rzeczywistością 2020 r., roku globalnej pandemii, poznamy dzięki opisom działalności bibliotek we Włoszech, Irlandii, Argentynie, Stanach Zjednoczonych Ameryki i Chinach.

The article is divided into two parts. The first one presents visions and predictions how the world of libraries will be in 2020 (based on the publication of Joseph Janes Library 2020: Today's Leading Visionaries Describe Tomorrow's Library, published in 2013). The second part presents the clash of 2013 ideas with the reality of 2020, the year of a global pandemic, based on descriptions of activities of libraries in Italy, Ireland, Argentina, the United States of America and China.
