Artykuł prezentuje autorski projekt animacji poklatkowej „Jestem człowiekiem – mam prawo…”, realizowany w dwóch gdyńskich liceach ogólnokształcących. Inicjatywa wpisuje się w tworzenie herstory – dziejowej narracji przedstawiającej historię dwóch utalentowanych, ale zapomnianych w Polsce artystek – Zofi i Stryjeńskiej i Tekli Bądrzewskiej-Baranowskiej. Artykuł uwydatnia potrzebę poruszania ważnych problemów społecznych, w tym problemu praw człowieka i równouprawnienia płci. Rozważania prowadzone są w oparciu o projekt pedagogii oporu Henry’ego Giroux. Poszczególne postulaty modelu edukacyjnego zestawione zostają z głównymi założeniami projektu. Najważniejszy element wspólny, tj. samookreślenie wobec społecznych wyzwań ponowoczesności, zostaje uwydatniony jako pierwszy i zarazem konieczny warunek świadomego wzmacniania podmiotowości zagubionej w fikcyjnym świecie konsumpcyjnych przyjemności. Podkreślone zostaje znaczenie wykorzystana techniki animacji poklatkowej do przedstawienia świata bohaterek. Film animowany jako językowe medium narracji umożliwia „namacalne” odkrycie tego, w jaki sposób powstaje postać, wspiera proces utożsamienia się z bohaterkami i pozwala na współtworzenie części ich świata.

The paper presents the project “I am a human being – I have the right to…” basing on the stopmotion technique. The project took place in two high schools in Gdynia. The idea was to create the herstories of two women artists – Zofia Stryjeńska and Tekla Bądarzewska-Baranowska – both of whom were talented, though forgotten by Polish audience. The paper focuses on some important social issues, including human rights and equality of men and women. It concentrates on pedagogy of resistance developed by Henry Giroux. The article compares this approach to the main presumptions of my educational project. The most important point is the idea of self-awareness in relation with the social challenges of the postmodern reality. It is not only the first, but also the necessary condition of the intentional development of human self in the world of consumption and simple pleasures. The focus is on using the stop-motion technique of fi lm-making as the most suitable means to present the world of the main characters. It enables to discover directly how the characters appear and it supports the process of identification with both women artists. It is possible to create the part of reality of their lives.
