ПІДГОТОВКА МАЙБУТНІХ УЧИТЕЛІВ ДО ГУРТКОВОЇ РОБОТИ З РИТОРИЧНОЇ МАЙСТЕРНОСТІ (на матеріалі творчої спадщини Олександра Захаренка)
Training of teachers to group work on rhetorical skills (based on the creative heritage of Alexander Zakharenko).

This article provides an overview of the theoretical sources according to group work, certain aspects of rhetorical skills of the famous Ukrainian teacher, director of school in the village Sakhnivka (Cherkassy region) Alexander Antonovich Zakharenko. The functions, principles of extracurricular activities in higher school are outlined. It is proved that involvement of students to different types of creative activity in extracurricular activities allows teachers in more favorable way to explore the potential, capacity, research interests and preferences of students, to find creative individuality, self-determination, to help find their purpose in life and a future profession. It is noted that the role of the working group of rhetorical skills in secondary school is special: in the classroom students learn the rules of expressive reading, speech breathing settings, ability to develop free, easy stay in front of an audience, to make a dialogue, to respect the opinion of the interlocutor. The attention is focused on future teachers mastering, through the course “Methods of teaching Ukrainian language in higher education institutions”, the system of theoretical knowledge, speech, rhetorical skills of effective persuasive communication that are needed for the development of students’ rhetorical competence both in the classroom and within the group of rhetoric. It is mentioned that the image of the teacher must be based on Ukrainian mentality of speech culture: own literary norms, culture statements, convincing words. Studying the works of the teacher, communication with the colleagues, who worked with Sakhnivka wizard, enable us to state on thought that Alexander A. Zakharenko finely mastered the method of “live communication”, a variety of expressive language tools, their efficiency, relevance, aesthetics, emotionality; he could make an interest, persuade, induce, encourage everybody with a drain, accurate and apt word. According to the requirements for functions, principles of extracurricular activities, group work with rhetorical skills and artistic heritage of Alexander Antonovich Zakharenko are proposed problem-searching, creative tasks for undergraduates. The tasks allow to mention the specific of teachers’ rhetorical skills, which finds expression in various skilful use of language and means of expression, tactics and strategies in directing of educational action.
