W niniejszym artykule wyjaśniono znaczenie słowa „migracja”. Przedstawiono jej różne podziały, a t akże scharakteryzowano jeden z n ajczęściej występujących rodzajów migracji, jakim jest imigracja. Omówiono również jej nielegalnych charakter, wskazując jednocześnie na źródła i skutki tego zjawiska. W ogólnym zarysie zaprezentowano również instytucje, a także zakres ich działań w sytuacji zaistnienia tego procederu.

This paper explains the meaning of the concept of migration. Its various classifications have been presented along with the characteristics of one of the most common types of m igration, constituted by immigration. This paper also discusses the i llegal character of t he p henomenon in q uestion, pointing out to its sources and e ffects. In g eneral terms, it also presents the institutions and the scope of their activities undertaken in the face of this practice.
