У статті досліджуються домінанти малої прози Уласа Самчука. Зокрема, вивчаються формальні та змістові складники творів, з’ясовується роль і значення найменувань, образної символіки у текстовій організації. Особливу увагу звернено на ідіостиль автора.

The article deals with the peculiarities of the small prose by Ulas Samchuk. The research investigates the role and the sense of the titles and image’s symbolism in his short stories, the formal and substantive, conceptual levels of the text’s organization. The study pays particular attention to author’s individual style.
