The flora of algae of the rivers of south-eastern Poland is poorly studied. in Eastern Mleczka River. In studied watercourse 217 diatom taxa from 48 genera were The aim of study was to assess the diatom diversity and usage them to water quality assessment identified. Most numerous among them were species of the genera: Nitzschia (38 taxa) and Navicula (28 taxa).
