Żyjąc w teatrze codzienności, przerywanym okresowo czasem świąt, przybieramy określone maski i pozy, potrzebne do odegrania swojej roli.

In the light of the concept of theatrum mundi, human life is seen as a dramatized spectacle, during which, depending on the situation, we assume the role of actors or spectators. Living in the theater of everyday life, interrupted periodically by the holidays, we assume defined masks and poses, one need to play his role. Post-modern tourism is also a part of the world’s theatricality. For the consumers’ entertainment specific performances, giving the illusion of authenticity are made within the panorama of touristic cities and rural areas. Actors involved in arranged performances are not the people on their own, but often also animals that are forced to specific behaviors, assigning them the role of regional attraction. They are exploited in transport, shows and acrobatic performances, photography, gastronomy and memorablia industry. In each of this cases, the authenticity is replaced with staging theater with elements of mystification, to the detriment of the animals themselves. This relates to the commercial thinking, which treats animals as a product of market exchange. This practice will not be completely eliminated, while there will be still demand for attractions with the presence of animals. The basis of this study was observation, internet query as well as factual query as a complementary method for observation.
